Some people still don’t understand just how incredibly useful Google Plus’s Circles can be. Google+ is not a Facebook or Twitter clone, but rather a communications platform which can be used just like any of those competitors and than some. For instance, a post can be published and directed in many ways depending on just who you want to see it.
- Share it with the “Public,” it’s like a blog post.
- Share it with your “Circles” it’s like a tweet or Facebook post.
- Share it with your “Customers” Circle it’s a business newsletter.
- Share it with your “Employees” Circle and it’s an internal company memo.
- Share it with your Wife, it can be a simple private letter to your her.
- Share it with yourself only, and it’s a reminder/to do list/bookmark/diary.
- Use Google+ as a free Newsletter Application (No Need for Aweber any more)
- Use Google+ as a Dating Site (Eventually if more search options are added it could rival PlentyofFish or Match.com)
Never before have we seen a way to share online, that is as versatile as Google+ The power of the network is simply unbelievable, and this is why I feel we will soon see Google+ adopted by the mainstream. It easily can take the place of Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Email, Bookmarks, and Aweber (Newsletter system) from a utility point of view. How are you using Circles to organize your outgoing communications? Let’s hear your unique approaches to the innovative social network!
